Aurora Arazzi is an Indonesian artist whose practice spans sculpture, painting, and installation. Working primarily with paper and found objects, she explores materiality through labor-intensive processes shaped by folding, layering, and accumulation. Moving beyond her background in printmaking, Arazzi approaches paper not simply as a surface but as a physical object responsive to gravity, light, and its surroundings.
For Liste Art Fair Basel 2026, sangheeut presents a solo booth of new works in which walking becomes a method of observation and gathering. Square paper tiles installed across the walls evoke fragmented routes or speculative maps, while overlooked objects collected along the artist’s walks are staged within delicate paper structures that function as walls, screens, or temporary shelters. Together, these elements create a landscape of encounters, tracing the relationship between movement, attention, and the everyday.
Arazzi has participated in major Indonesian art events including ArtJog 2023 and is the recipient of the Bandung Contemporary Art Award (2024) and the UOB Painting of the Year Gold Award in the Established Artist category (2025). 오로라 아라치는 조각, 회화, 설치를 넘나들며 종이의 물성과 일상에서 수집한 사물을 탐구한다. 판화를 전공한 작가는 관습적인 판화의 방식에서 벗어나 종이를 단순한 지지체가 아닌 하나의 독립적인 오브제로 다루어 왔다. 접고, 쌓고, 자르고, 이어 붙이는 노동집약적인 과정을 통해 종이를 중력과 빛, 주변 환경에 반응하는 입체적인 구조로 확장하며, 개인적인 경험과 주변 환경에 대한 관찰을 형태와 공간에 대한 사유로 발전시킨다.
상히읗은 이번 리스트 아트페어 바젤에서 오로라 아라치의 솔로 부스를 선보인다. 이번 부스는 걷기를 단순한 이동이 아닌 관찰과 수집의 방법으로 활용해온 작가의 신작으로 구성된다. 아라치는 산책과 이동의 과정에서 발견한 사물들을 수집하고, 이를 종이로 만든 구조물과 함께 배치한다. 벽면에는 정사각형 종이 타일들이 지도나 경로의 파편처럼 설치되며, 그 사이사이로 작품들이 등장한다. 벽이자 스크린, 그리고 임시의 쉼터를 연상시키는 종이 구조물과 사물들은 관람객의 시선을 이끌며 공간 속 이동을 유도한다. 이처럼 부스 전체는 이동과 주의 깊은 관찰, 그리고 일상 속 사소한 대상들과의 우연한 만남이 만들어내는 하나의 풍경으로 펼쳐진다.
