sangheeut was founded in 2021 as an experimental exhibition space in Haebangchon Five-way Intersection. sangheeut curated a performance-based exhibition, a screening show, and numerous other exhibitions challenging the conventional way of looking at and presenting art. Now relocated to the entrance of Haebangchon, near Gyeongridan-gil, and surrounded by other upcoming galleries and unique atmosphere filled with pubs, restaurants, and artist studios, sangheeut operates as an incubating gallery, mounting solo and group exhibitions of emerging and mid-career artists with a strong curatorial focus, as well as creating rich digital content to promote its artists and programs, and still welcoming the experimental approach to art.
